Join Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) for the tenth annual campaign of Art+Feminism. Participate in an all-day Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon designed to improve coverage of gender, feminism, and the arts on the internet, through Wikipedia articles.

In a 2011 survey, the Wikimedia Foundation found that less than 10% of its contributors identify as female. Together, we can improve the digital knowledge and visibility of female and gender nonconforming-identifying artists from PAMM's collection featuring artists from the U.S. Latino experience, the African diaspora, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

The day includes two Introduction to Editing Wikipedia training sessions, and opportunities to engage in gallery experiences, participate in fun activities, join communal editing tables hosted by members of PAMM's Teen Arts Council, and enjoy complimentary refreshments at the end-of-day reception. The day concludes with an in-gallery discussion exploring the 2023 campaign theme Collective Action, featuring artworks from PAMM's permanent collection.

People of all gender identities and expressions are welcome and encouraged to attend, and no prior Wikipedia editing experience is required. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops and power cords, and the communal edit-a-thon will include tutorials for the beginner Wikipedian, ongoing editing support, and plenty of reference materials from PAMM's library. Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottle to help reduce waste. Wi-Fi and complimentary refreshments will be provided.
